Volunteer Drive! Sat., Feb. 27, 10AM - 2PM!
At River Valley Bank in Calumet!
Calling all dog lovers to join us this Saturday, February 27th,
from 10AM to 2PM at River Valley Bank in Calumet for our first ever
volunteer round-up. We need an army of volunteers to make this race
happen. Come out for hot dogs and sled dogs and see and actual
10-dog team hooked up and ready to go. Find out what it takes
to be a part of this exciting event up front and center.
Whether you want to wrangle dogs or experience the race from a
remote outpost we need your help and have a spot for you!
Vaccination Clinic & Training Run
Sunday, Oct. 18th, 12:30PM - Swedetown Ski Chalet
CopperDog 150 organizers will be hosting a rabies vaccination
clinic for sled dog teams on Sunday, October 18th at the Swedetown
Ski Chalet. The cost to mushers will be $7.00 per dog.
Immediately following the vaccination clinic mushers are welcome to
participate in a 15-mile rig training run.
Spectators are welcome!

Presentation by Iditarod Musher Tim Hunt
Sunday, Oct. 18th, 6-9PM - Calumet Theater Ballroom
IDITAROD musher Tim Hunt will be visiting the Copper Country on
Sunday, October 18th at the Calumet Theater Ballroom to present a slide show and talk about his
experiences running the IDITAROD.
The event will kick off with a dinner at 6:00PM featuring pasta with the famous Gemignani's Pasta Sauce and Tex-Mex
from Carmelitas.
Following dinner at 7:00PM Tim Hunt will present
his slideshow entitled, "IDITAROD: A RED LANTER PERSPECTIVE" The cost of the event is $15 dollars for
adults. Admission is free for kids accompanied by adults.

look at the worlds most famous dog-sled race.
