Sponsoring the CopperDog 150
Welcome to the first annual CopperDog 150! Join us this year as we lay the
groundwork for what will easily become the premier winter outdoor event in the
Keweenaw Peninsula!
This is no ordinary sled dog race. The Copper Dog’s downtown start, and spectator
friendly race course are designed to provide maximum exposure to sponsors and local
businesses throughout the Keweenaw.
As the snowmobiling season is winding down and the doldrums of winter are setting
in, our late season race date perfectly positions the Copper Country as ”the place to be”
in March, and promises the greatest impact to the local economy.
Our unique, combined checkpoint/stage racing format and professional purse are
sure to draw the finest competition the sport has to offer.
We have put together an exciting sponsorship program, and have a variety of
events scheduled over the coming months to showcase our event, and promote our sponsors.
