Adam Johnson - Brockit Photography

Adam and his team at Brockit Photography have been involved in providing incredible photography, videography, and aerial videography of the CopperDog since the race was created in 2009. It is not an understatement to say that Adam not only documented the entire history of the rage in images, he has also helped guide the race to what it is now, one of the premier mushing events in the world.

For the past several years Jess has worked closely with Adam as both assistant and second shooter.

A CopperDog Film

Brockit Photography created "A Copper Dog Film" documenting the CopperDog ethos. The film has received great reviews. The film was supported by Visit Keweenaw, the Keweenaw Coffee Works, and Iron Fish Distillery.

Where to find Brockit photographs

Larry Molloy - CopperDog Photographer (and Gallery)

Larry has served as one of our CopperDog official photographers since 2014.

Larry Molloy is a Licensed Lay Minister serving as pastor of Bethany Lutheran of the Keweenaw, located in Mohawk, and Shepherd of the Sea in Copper Harbor, congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He is also Professor Emeritus of Oakland Community College, near Detroit, where he taught computer science for 30 years before retiring to the Keweenaw. While he has no family roots in the Copper Country, his interest in the history of the Keweenaw lead him to write several books about the area as well as to eventually serve as President of the Keweenaw County Historical Society prior to his call to ministry. He and Nancy became permanent residents of the Keweenaw in 2019 and have become active members of our community. Larry first took photos of the Copper Dog in 2013 and has been sharing photos with us ever since that time.
