2022 CopperDog 80 Race Offering

8 Dogs, 76.5 Miles, 2 Stages, $6,000 Purse (1st - 8th)

This 76.5-mile, 2-stage, 8-dog race that enjoys great views of the Keweenaw has been moved to leave from Calumet on the famed snow road ending in Phoenix Friday night. After a day of rest the second stage leaves Copper Harbor Saturday morning with the finish in Eagle Harbor.

Due to the generosity of our sponsors, the CopperDog 150 is pleased to be able to provide day money for the top three finishers of each stage of the CopperDog80.

Goal of 20 Teams

Don’t miss out on the friendly people, welcoming communities, challenging trails, formidable competition, and the peace and tranquility that blossoms from the Keweenaw trails.

Award money will be paid to first through eighth place. There is a limit of 20 teams for this event, register early to secure your position.

The CopperDog 80 is a 76.5 mile, 2 stage race (the race planning team reserves the right to vary the actual length of the race +/- 3 miles). Stage 1 is Friday night in Calumet, finishing in Phoenix. Stage 2 is Sunday, starting in Copper Harbor and ending in Eagle Harbor.
